Dr. Maureen Ginsburg

Dr. Ginsburg is board-certified in both Pain Management and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. She is a specialist dedicated to helping patients restore function, reduce suffering, and improve quality of life. With over 15 years of clinical experience, Dr. Ginsburg provides comprehensive, high-quality patient-centered care for individuals living with acute and chronic pain conditions.

Dr. Ginsburg graduated Magna Cum Laude from Duquesne University. She earned her medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania and completed her Osteopathic Internship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Her Internship was followed by a Residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital affiliated with the University of Chicago Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. In Residency, she was a Chief Resident of her program. She then completed a Fellowship in Pain Management at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Such advanced training allows Dr. Ginsburg to offer a multidisciplinary approach that combines interventional procedures, medication management, and rehabilitative strategies customized for each patient’s individual needs.

Dr. Ginsburg treats a wide range of conditions, including back and neck pain, sciatica, joint pain, neuropathy, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), post-surgical pain, and cancer-related pain. Interventional services may include epidural steroid injections, joint injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, and spinal cord stimulation.

Known for a compassionate, caring and thoughtful approach, Dr. Ginsburg believes in working with patients to develop individualized care plans focused not only on reduction in pain, but also on restoring mobility, independence, and overall well-being. Dr. Ginsburg is committed to staying at the forefront of pain medicine through ongoing education and active participation in professional societies such as the International Pain and Spine Intervention Society, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association.

Outside of the office, Dr. Ginsburg has a passion for running as well as enjoying kickboxing, baking, and spending time with her husband and three sons. Dr. Ginsburg serves on the Athletic Board and is a coach of the Track and Field and Cross Country Teams for her son’s school
