TARGET Study- Dorsal Root Ganglion (DRG) stimulation for the treatment of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS)
Abbott, formerly St. Jude Medical, is conducting a phase IV, post-market, clinical trial for DRG stimulation. The therapy is FDA approved for Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), formerly known as Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD).
The phase III clinical trial, known as the ACCURATE study, showed that DRG stimulation was effective in 93.3% of patients.
